We only collect information you choose to give us:

Contact form: your name, work email, and message, plus your phone number and company if you provide them.

Field Notes newsletter: your email address.

We use your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry, and your email address to send the Field Notes newsletter if you subscribe. We use this information to operate and improve the site. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Field Notes uses double opt-in: after you submit your email, we send a confirmation link, and you are added to the list only after you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by emailing us.

Your information is stored securely with the infrastructure providers we use to run the site, including our database host and our email delivery provider, which process data on our behalf. Access is limited to authorised personnel, and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our instructions to deliver these services (such as hosting and email delivery), or where required by law. We do not sell your data.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted.
